Green x reader - Lost Memories (chapter 1)

"Red! Green!" A young girl yelled as she ran towards her two friends. One had brown hair and eyes that shone like emeralds, the other had black hair and eyes that were a dark red. The girl's name was (First Name) (Last Name), a new trainer and the best friend of Red, the black haired one, and Green, the brunette. The three had been friends since childhood and now they were going to go their separate ways.

Now young little (Name) was moving to a new region, the region of Sinnoh, with her parents who were to be working there, for what or whom the girl did not know. (Name) always had sparkling (E/C) eyes and (H/L) (H/C), but this time her hair was messy and in a ponytail and her eyes had a dull shine with tears brimming around them as she ran and hugged her two friends.

"(N-Name)?" Green questioned looking down at her as he squirmed out of the hug, not the type to like seeing girls cry, especially not one of his best friends. Red looked down at her with a silent stare, wondering the same thing as he patted the girl's head affectionately.

"I-I'm moving!" The girl said, tears still slipping down her face as she backed away from the two slightly.

"Moving? You can't move though! We're just about to start our journeys! Remember our promise!?" Red asked, swallowing tears of his own before he turned and walked away, leaving Green and poor (Name) standing alone.

A girl with (H/L), (H/C) hair and a scar along her hip sat up in her bed. She had seen that dream, and countless like it with the same two boys in it, since she had first woken up in a mysterious place known as Snowpoint City in the Sinnoh region. She didn't remember who they were or why they kept appearing in her dreams, a process that started when the girl moved to Kanto under orders from her superior in Sinnoh to infiltrate and destroy Team Rocket so they couldn’t interfere in Team Galactic's plans.

"Who are they though" she muttered to herself as she got up and slipped on her daily uniform. Her name was (First Name) (Last Name) and she was an executive member for Team Rocket and the owner of a very strong Espeon, once an Eevee and was raised with care and love into her evolved stage. The girl also owned a Luxray, the main part of her team and the only Pokémon she used on missions with the other grunts or executive members for certain missions. If word got out that an elite member, such as herself, used Pokémon raised by care, the Pokémon would be taken, tested, and broken until all they knew was merciless, cold, ruthless attacks. She'd seen it done several times to grunts that had grown too attached to their Pokémon and learned the hard way that love didn't go over well with the boss of Team Rocket.

(Name) knew better, she also did not live on base like the other executive members. She lived in the town of Viridian City near the forest, that way her Espeon could roam free if Team Rocket members ever came to find her. She put on a light jacket over top so no one saw the emblem and grabbed her Luxray's Poké ball, telling her two companions to stay put until she returned from her meeting with her boss. Several years, from that very day, had passed since Team Rocket's fearless leader, Giovanni, lost his place as the eighth gym leader, or so she had been told, and had become more ruthless against his members. Five months ago, she wouldn't have believed it, with how warmly he welcomed her to the organization, but now she could believe almost anything about the man. The day also marked her last day at Team Rocket, or so she hoped. However, when she walked out that morning and ran into a Staravia perched on a fence near her home, she lost hope of being able to ever return to her friends in Team Galactic or leaving Team Rocket.

      "We send you this in hoping that you get it. (Name), Cyrus lost and was trapped in an alternate dimension. We don't know what happened but as of right now, Team Galactic is no more. Stay safe and get away from Team Rocket. We sent you your original Pokémon with this Staravia in hopes they'll help you.

The girl smiled a bit at the memories the four of them had hiding her Pokémon in her room away from Cyrus. Things with Team Galactic were different, they didn't care if a person got attached to their Pokémon, as long as a person got what needed done, done, Cyrus was fine with them having personal Pokémon. She picked up the package the bird had dropped at her feet and opened the door, the bird flying in before she got a chance to close it and turned on the news as she ripped into the package. Four Poké Balls dropped out, each with a Pokémon she had raised from each region she had been to before.

A Zoroark, affectionately named Illusion for his ability, was in the ultra-ball that (Name) now placed onto her table. The second Pokémon in a poke-ball was her Absol, given the name Ace for his love of being a show-off of acrobatic techniques. Her third and faithful companion, was a Charizard, given the name Blaze. (Name) remembered receiving him here, but memories of how and when never surfaced, even though she tried to remember her past life here in Kanto. Her last Pokémon was a cute Cyndaquil at one time, but through her travels and many battles with Jupiter and Saturn, the Cyndaquil had evolved into a fearsome Typhlosion with a possessive trait that made it wary of anyone who came near the girl. She had received the Cyndaquil as an egg from a mysterious male with fiery red hair in Mt. Coronet and had never figured out why she had been given the egg in the first place.

(Name) smiled as she released the party of Pokémon in front of her, smiling widely as each one greeted her with a different noise before laying down or coming over to her, as Ace and Illusion did. The news, however, caught her attention when word of two trainers, one described to be the gym leader of Viridian, and a brunette with stunning emerald eyes, while the other was the Champion of Kanto himself, a boy with black hair, crimson eyes, and a deviously striking smile, were standing in front of the very building she worked in. However, what caught her attention were the three police officers behind the scene, escorting Giovanni out in handcuffs, his Poké Balls being taken by another officer and many more, probably stolen, Poké Balls being handed in bags to officers and taken to somewhere not named.

Placing the bag around her shoulders, (Name) made her way to the Viridian café nearby. The girl smiled as she walked in, the hustle and bustle of the usually quiet café filled with the chatter of people trying to get a better look at Red and Green on the screen of the small TV in the upper corner of the room. The girl ordered a simple Oran Berry Smoothie and sat down in a booth, away from all the noise and clamor inside, near a window overlooking the entire city. She smiled faintly when the waitress came with a soft smile and handed her the drink.

"Enjoy the smoothie miss." She bowed before scurrying off to serve other guests that were demanding their order be taken. (Name) looked into her bag for her money and pulled out enough to pay for her drink and still leave the waitress a nice tip. She set it down nearby and finished her smoothie before walking out of the building.

She stretched her arms out as her Espeon came out from her Poké Ball and walked on beside her through the small city. She took a deep breath of the fresh air from the forest as she walked in the direction that would lead to Pallet Town. She looked down at her companions "we're going to take the gym challenge." She said as she took out her Charizard's Poké Ball and released him in front of her.

With a loud roar the Pokémon stood in front of her with his wings spread and ready to take flight on her command. She returned the eeveelution by her feet and jumped on Charizard's back, telling him to head for Pallet Town so they could start their newest adventure.

She sighed as she lay on top of his back; the last adventure she had taken was through Sinnoh. Everything before her joining Team Galactic, and after hearing of her parents' disappearance, was either a blur in her memory, or a nonexistent part of her past that she needed to unlock after having lost most of her memories in an accident about a year ago.

The last thing she remembered was being at a large open lake and three Pokémon were in front of her, there was a battle, and when she woke up next she was in her bed in Sunnyshore City. After that she had found out from a strange person that her parents had disappeared and that if she wanted to help she would have to join Team Galactic, which is exactly what she did.

Charizard landed in front of Professor Oak's lab with a powerful beat of his wings as he turned to the girl who slid off and stood beside him.

"Thanks Charizard, take a long deserved rest." She said returning the Pokémon to his Poké Ball. She took a deep breath before she walked towards the lab and walked up the steps to the door. She opened the doors only to be greeted with the clamor of scientists and researchers scrambling about to get things situated for new trainers and new arrivals as she looked about at the different machines for the Pokémon around the lab and in it, as she soon realized when an Umbreon, that was obviously well cared for, bumped into her leg. She leaned down to pet it when a male voice interrupted her train of thought.

"(Name)? Is that you?" the voice asked. Although startled by the sudden voice, (Name) couldn't help but look up at the brunette in front of her. It was him; the boy from the screen; the Viridian City gym leader, Green Oak.

"That's my name, yes. Do I know you?" she asked tilting her head in confusion as Red walked over to stand by Green.

"You should, we used to be best friends (Name); you, me, and Green." Red said standing next to Green with worried, red eyes. The two males stared at her for a long while before she shook her head quickly, backing up from them.

"I'm s-sorry? You must have the wrong person!" she said quickly turning around and running back outside before either boy could stop her.
